Two wonderful reads!!

Megumi brought this book home from school a few weeks ago and now everyone in our family who can read has read it!  What a fun book!  The premise is that there are people who gain an extra-special ability, usually around age 13, and it follows them as they try to learn what their ability truly is and how best to use it.  They call the ability they gain their savvy.  Just a hint, one of the characters can control electricity and another can hear radio waves and pull them out of the air.
Our family also recommends that you try the second book in this series: Scumble.  It is also a fun read.

We saw this when we were at the library. and... it was really good. It runs along with the Percy Jackson series, it just focuses on other heroes.

Super Good, Two Tumbs Up, Five Stars, the Jordan stamp of approval...you pick...IT is good! We reccomend it!

Godzilla's Spine

Lately, the boys have been into Godzilla...So one day, the Boys came up to me and wanted me to see Godzilla's Spine. I thought, "Okay..." having no idea what that meant.

They showed me this:

Yes, they built the "spine" if Godzilla out of blocks.

please don;t mind the blanket, but the toy shelves behind it distracted the picture. (This was a cool view!) I love that it is so Spine-y...is that even a word?!?

And here are the boys, so proud of their work! I was too! They have the BEST imaginations and they play together PERFECTLY...actually, I take that back, they play together QUITE WELL!!
